Scraptures

"Scraptures". Alphabet 12 (August 1966). 72-73. Nichol published many of the Scraptures series through Ganglia Press as broadsides chapbooks, but they also appeared in James Reaney's literary magazine Alphabet in a special issue on math and poetry. These "Scraptures" appear in a section called "Math Square Contest Poems" alongside contributions from bill bissett, Keewatin Dewdney, Gwendolyn MacEwan, amongst others. A version of this poem appears in Gifts: The Martyrology Books 7 & (1990).
